"Stuck with Horrible Helpers" is the seventh episode in Season 3 of Stuck in the Middle and the forty-fourth episode overall. It first aired on March 16, 2018, to 0.99 million viewers.[1]
Summary[]
Harley's latest invention causes havoc in science class.[2]
Plot[]
Harley is excited about that Ms. Wilson will choose a student to compete in the state inventing contest, the Imagination Gladiators, to determine which students are selected to go to NASA. This could be her chance to become the first girl to go to Mars. Unfortunately, Mr. Delorco takes over Ms. Wilson's Science class on a permanent basis, making it impossible for Harley to be chosen because of their unpleasant past.
So, Harley must go all-out to convince Mr. Delorco. She invents a robot called "Slush-Bot" and uses Lewie and Beast to train the robot to perform classroom tasks to assist Mr. Delorco. Unfortunately, the kids accidentally train the robot to destroy everything. It malfunctions during her demo to Mr. Delorco causing havoc in the class. She becomes so mad at Lewie and Beast that she stops talking to them. Feeling guilty, Lewie and Beast spend all night researching about other Harley's inventions. They present them to Mr. Delorco the next day. Harley finds them and causes a mess by accidentally turning on the toilet dispenser. Afterwards, Mr. Delorco admits that despite the disastrous effects, Harley deserves to go because of how much her brothers care about her. Harley forgives Lewie and Beast.
Meanwhile, Abuela sends the kids money to buy the pool table they gave up in order to visit her for Christmas. Georgie buys the pool table but realizes that she's been cheated. She and Tom try to confront the seller but they're both too soft. So, they end up just spending more money on him and admitting that they're all too soft.
When Harley takes Lewie and Beast to her dad's store to celebrate, they are shocked to find that the store has been robbed.
