"Stuck with Harley's Bethany" is the fifth episode in Season 3 of Stuck in the Middle and the forty-second episode overall. It first aired on February 9, 2018, to 1.01 million viewers.[1]
Overview[]
Harley and Suzy come up with a new way to get along with their neighbors.[2]
Plot[]
Harley's nemesis, Aidan enrolls at Harley's school and starts sitting next to Harley in class. Harley can't stand him because of his constant drumming and his face. During a pop quiz, Harley spends the entire time plotting how to get rid of Aidan so much, that she forgets to actually answer the questions on the quiz, which causes her to fail.
Suzy advises Harley to treat Aidan the same way she treats Bethany - by pretending to agree with everything she says. Harley tries this trick while working with Aidan to fix the fence they destroyed in Stuck in Camp Chaos. This works for a while until Aidan crosses the line again when he joins Harley's school announcements. He de-bling's Harley's headphones and read the results for class elections - the big announcement that Harley had been preparing for. Harley can't take it anymore. She goes off on air and starts yelling at Aidan.
While Harley is still yelling at Aidan, she accidentally hits the button to go on air without noticing. The entire school starts listening to her meltdown. She even reveals that her mom has been pretending to like Bethany when she can't stand her. This causes Bethany to get angry at Suzy. Ethan who is filming his new web show outside with Lewie and Beast asks the twins to continue filming the drama between Bethany and Suzy. He goes inside and tells Harley that she was on air the whole time. Harley is embarrassed because the whole school heard her meltdown. Meanwhile, Aidan smirks at Harley's misfortune and embarrassment.
Later at home, Ethan asks Harley to put Aidan in the "Dead to Diaz" list but Harley refuses to sink that low. Ethan volunteers to add Aidan into the Dead to Diaz list for Harley.
